First Video for the Vlog!

OK guys so as you can tell, I have finished the header pretty much, I used a 'paisley' print that was similar to a scarf I have, and then just scanned it on and edited it in Photoshop. (In case anyone was wondering). So here is the first video for my Vlog, very exciting! I did a few takes, and didn't quite say everything I wanted to and was a little nervous (also because I recently got ceramic braces, and they make me sound like Shaun Connery...) but it gives you all an idea of what I am up to.

I listed a few of the obvious influences for me but I am really into a few New Zealand artists at the moment as well, if you like VC and Regina you guys will like 'Ruby Frost' She is around my age and not really huge in NZ but getting there. Her stuff is really creative! Check her out on YouTube.

Also one of my FAV artists atm is 'KIMBRA'. She is coming to USA soon, but atm is relatively NZ and Australian based. You've probably heard her already in the 'Gotye' song- "Somebody that I used to know" Check out her song- "Cameo Lover" its absolutely gorgeous! ^_^

The clothing and accessories I am wearing in my video above are all from 'The Wardrobe' my online fashion label. For those of you who don't know I love fashion and photography and you can check out my other blogs and websites below at the bottom of this page. You can buy these online and also on my Etsy Page.

I also want to put up tutorials on my other projects such as sewing, pattern making, photography, Adobe Photoshop + Premiere Pro etc. Also random recipes a bunch of random and creative pursuits for my YouTube channel.

A BIG thanks to KLEE744 for recommending some of the ideas in this Vlog. I will be doing a number of videos on my writing process and teaching you all how to write, and interpret music through the piano/voice so that you can start writing some songs of your own and hopefully share them with us!

So I will put up the archives in three parts: Pics, Videos, and Originals. The first VC song I am thinking of covering is "Get Good". What do you guys reckon?
